At the recent National Postpartum Hemorrhage (PPH) Commemoration Day held in Lwengo District, Uganda, our local distribution partner Silverbacks Pharmacy Ltd proudly introduced CELOXTM PPH – a revolutionary haemostatic gauze designed to rapidly and safely control excessive bleeding after childbirth.
This life-saving innovation empowers healthcare professionals to achieve 100% haemostasis in cases of Grade 1 and 2 PPH (up to 2500ml blood loss) across all delivery settings. CELOX PPH has demonstrated a 78% reduction in postpartum hysterectomies compared to the current standard of care, offering a critical solution to help reduce maternal mortality and preserve fertility.
